The Royal Cambridge Home, a care home owned and operated by a registered charity, supports independent living alongside the practice of professional care. It makes the most of charming living environment and is ideal for long-term needs and respite.
There are many homely comforts that make this an ideal choice, as well as a vibrant social life, large communal sitting rooms, a greenhouse and bedrooms, which residents can furnish to suit their taste.
Staff have a friendly approach. Many outings and events are regularly added to the calendar for residents' enjoyment.

Local Attractions
We often visit Garson's Farm, Squires Garden Centre and the local riverside
Visits to the Seaside
In the summer months we travel down to the south coast and have had many a happy day beside the sea
Pub Lunches
We have regular pub lunches which are always a very popular outing
Garden & Cultural Visits
We take residents to Bushy Park, Richmond Park, Hampton Court and other nearby attractions
Shopping Trips
We regularly organise shopping trips and visits to the local library
Library Trips
We regularly take residents to the local library so there is always something new to read

ENTERTAINMENT
Our in-house Activities Team, provide a schedule of varied regular activities and entertainment including:
Visiting professional musicians, from jazz to classical
Creative classes, including pottery, baking, flower arranging and painting
A visiting Pets As Therapy (PAT) dog (we also welcome visiting pets and indeed have our own resident cat Max)
Activity classes, such as keep fit and seated games such as netball
Bingo and board games
